Mine is the Simpsons just because I have been watching it forever and King of the Hill was very underrated....
This topic is locked from further discussion.
I regularly watch all of those shows aside from Simpsons, but South Park is my favorite of the bunch.
i voted futurama, i find its reruns to be more entertaining than most of those. SP and FG come in a close second. imo the simpsons just went downhill and i haven't found king of the hill funny in years (maybe because i live in texas and see actual people that behave like the characters in that show.... morons)
I've gone in and out of phases of these shows except King of the Hill. At the moment, it's South Park. I'm enjoying the new episodes.
Simpsons= time to hang it up. The show is no longer funny.
King of the Hill= Very under-rated. And it got cancelled for the freaking Cleveland Show. It did not deserve such a fate
Futurama= was, and always will be, Matt Groening masterpiece. Better than the Simpsons in every way.
Family Guy= yes, it has spawned a terrible spin-off(The Cleveland Show), a fairly bland sister show(American Dad) and is over-rated a bit. But it is also funny as hell.
South Park= Other than King of the Hill, its the most mature show on here. Very smart, and very funny.
I had to go with Futurama.
All are good shows, recent family guy and simpsons episodes suck. Best of the simpsons is the best overral imo, south park is probably the most consistent.
The Simpsons is excellent at its best, but I prefer Futurama due to its consistency and subtlety.super_mario_128
I know what you mean, though the only problem I have with that argument is that Futurama had four great seasons and no bad ones (since it only ran for four seasons, though it's coming back :D), whereas The Simpsons had 11 or 12 consecutive great seasons and several consecutive bad ones (and is still on the air >_>).

I don't know, once The Simpsons hit HD, they've been funnier, and better.

Well, I haven't really watched the latest season or two of The Simpsons, since I more or less gave up on it. :P

Yeh, that viewpoint is fair enough. The Simpsons needs to call it a day before it is remembered as the show that didn't know how to wrap things up, rather than a work of genius; really, it's become a cliche-ridden piece of trash recently. And honestly I don't have great expectations for the new Futurama series; the movies were awful in comparison to the show. Here's hoping that's just because Groening can't deal with movie-making, though...Family Guy is the best in all aspects. Second goes to South Park, third to The Simpsons, fourth to Fururama and fifth to King of the Hill.

Well, I personally liked the Futurama movies, but that's just me. I thought The Simpsons movie was really good (especially considering the state of the show), but in a lot of ways it wasn't really a movie so much as a long episode (especially given the first 30-ish minutes didn't have much to do with the plot :P).

well you should check out the episodes "Gone Maggie Gone", "Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh" and "Homer the Whopper" all three of those episodes are great. But then again you don't have to check them out :P Up to you.Well, I personally liked the Futurama movies, but that's just me. Because if so, that certainly explains a lot. I liked the Futurama movies too, though they were a bit of a step down in quality (especially Bender's Game, which was a bit late of the gate with it's attempts at spoofing TLOTR) and weren't really anywhere near as funny.chessmaster1989
Simpsons had about 9 brilliant years and an additional 3 good ones (IMO) so Im going with them as my number one.
South park would come in second as they too have had 9 brilliant years (near simpson levels) but only season 11 and episodes here and there are working now.
Futurama has some of the best episodes of television I've ever seen but 3 of the movies didnt do it for me.
King of the hilll also had a great run and is the most consistant of these choices, but also doesnt quite reach the heights the others do.
edit: forgot about family guy. 3 masterful seasons, one decent after and everything else I believe to be unwatchable.
A difficult choice between Futurama and the Simpsons, but I'm gonna go with the Simpsons simply because the show can still be brilliant (sometimes) after 20 years.
South Park. It's the best written and smartest shows out of all those options.

The aim was not to be smart. And it has a terrible Republican bias.
But I still like it more than Family guy (I find it annoying).
Simpsons ad KOTH: meh.
I used to think Futurama was best; but now its South Park.
Simpsons. Even though it hasnt been funny in about 10 years. When it was good, it was so good it was almost unbeatable

lol what? They make fun of everyone...
Futurama, I would have said Family Guy but with how the past two seasons have gone, I've really lost my intrest in the show. It needs to stop being Seth's political opinion show and reusing old jokes every episode (chool whip was fun the first time, not the fifth.) and just go back to being random and insulting everything and one in the most blunt, politically incorrect way possible, that is when the show is actually funny.
