If you know nothing about the election, why do you want McCain to win?
Why isn't it over yet? Haven't you guys been voting for the past year? >_>SolidSnake35
It'll be over in November (hopefully). It just started really early because everyone just wants to be finished with the current guy.

Has anyone actually voted yet or has everything so far just been the guessing of where support will come from?[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]Why isn't it over yet? Haven't you guys been voting for the past year? >_>SolidSnake35

Has anyone actually voted yet or has everything so far just been the guessing of where support will come from? All the voting that has happened, was to figure out who will be running as the Democratic and Republican canidate. That is done, Obama beat Hillary, and McCain beat the other Republican canidates. Voting for president between Obama and McCain happens in November.[QUOTE="Engrish_Major"][QUOTE="SolidSnake35"]Why isn't it over yet? Haven't you guys been voting for the past year? >_>SolidSnake35

Has anyone actually voted yet or has everything so far just been the guessing of where support will come from? There are two main rounds of votes. The primaries decide the main two who will run against each other. The general election will determine the winner of those two, which is in November.
I see. Thanks for clearing that up. No female president then. >.> The only thing that confuses me now is that you only have two choices. Don't you guys get political parties like Labour, Conservatives, Liberals, BNP, Green Party etc?SolidSnake35
We get third-parties, but those don't have a chance of winning. Lately, in fact, people have stopped even trying to run for president and instead started joining third-parties just to suck up some votes to make a certain candidate win (I'm looking at you, Nader).

Yes we do, they are under independent party, they usually recieve no more than like 2% of the vote.
McCain, Obama will seriously ruin this country. McCains not great but he will be more tolerable. Lesser of two evils. ferrari2001
Bob Barr is my favorite guy running.
Obama is the worst one.:x
obama is the obvious choice for anyone who is remotely intelligent.mistervengeanceThat's the most condescending thing I've ever read. Someone who disagrees with you is not necessarily an idiot.

That's adorable.

he was well liked and respected internationally as well.
Everyone at my school in Texas has agreed we will succeed from the Union again if Hilary wins. We just find her repulsive. Once we succeed we can start executing more pedofiles and deporting more illegals.pukmokYou are a credit to your nation
Though I would prefer Paul, realistically I hope for Obama. I dont want a Bush duplicate getting into office. I dont agree with everything Obama says, but whole lot more than what Mccain says.
And I wish Nader would get hit by a bus. Piece of garbage...
