Walter for me, since as others have said, I've found his development very interesting. At first I liked him since I felt sympathy for him, but now I like him for the reasons I would like a villain.

Much as I like Hank, he still shouldn't have treated Marie like crap though, she was good to him through the whole thing

....but I do think she mostly missed the sex with him ;). The part where she gave him a hand job to get him out of the hospital was a riot.

I suppose if no one else votes, we can declare Jesse the winner......just think if we had this Poll following Season 2!

Mike is my favorite character. I admire how important his Granddaughter is to him and the lengths he goes to make sure she has a stable future.

Jesse. Walt is too ruthless now. Jesse has matured a lot since the show started and he's generally a good guy besides that fact that he was a drug dealer.

Jesse was very entertaining at first like when he found a lonely kid at a crack house. also he was entertaining when he had to carry out a hit like when the atm machine killed someone and he took the credit. Saul is real funny always enjoy his scenes. the newest season was highly focused on Walt which i didn't mind but i wish they would have done an episode about Jesse and his friendsplaymynutz

All of these 5 characters are brilliantly written and acted as are most of the characters in the show and that is just one of the reasons that Breaking Bad is so great. To choose my favourite character I would have to say its a tie between Walt and Jesse because of the transformation both of them have gone through over the 5 seasons.[spoiler] Mike was great its a shame Walt had to kill him off :( [/spoiler] I love Saul's one liners and witty comebacks even though he has been absent for the most part of this season I think we will see more in the last 8 episodes.
I have loved Hank all the way through the show, [spoiler] and it will be interesting to see what he chooses to do when he gets up off the toilet (following his discovery) :P [/spoiler]
