This. He is easily the best heavy weight of all time. His record and the people he has fought is unmatched at HW, no one else comes close.
Fedor because he's a beast!

Since when does a guy who has been #1 for seven years need to go chasing after a guy who hasn't even been in MMA for four years?

Well if Dana wants this fight he could let co-promote for just one event and let them duke it out. I am not a big fan of Fedor's agent either, but if he wants the fight to happen, he needs to work things out. Couture had a chance in 2007 to fight Fedor, but declined, went back to the UFC and fought Sylvia instead. In 2007, one of the big stories be reported was Fedor being too scared to sign with the UFC because of Tim Sylvia and he did not want to fight him. We obviously see how that went. It is a endless cycle. I would love to see Fedor in the UFC, but if anyone wants to fight him, they know where they need to go.[QUOTE="imaps3fanboy"]

And has only had a TOTAL of 5 fights in that span. Crazy considering his next opponent has double the amount of fights that he has.[QUOTE="Juice_13"]

GSP for me as well. Top 2 pound for pound fighter and Canadian. Just so dominant.
GSP is a beast!!!
I love this. George St-Pierre in the UFC 100 post-fight interview. Everybody else is wearing shorts and a T-shirt or whatever, and here's GSP talking about how he tore his groin in the third round, but kept going for the full five rounds...and he's wearing Armani:
That's a c|assy guy.

Fedor's management has called out Brock. Fedor himself says he respects Brock and would like to fight him. The problem is that Dana White and the UFC are too protective of their brand to co-promote. The only way M-1 will let Fedor fight in the UFC is if they get a share of the profit and get their name on the banners. Dana won't budge and Fedor's management won't budge. If Brock is more concerned with proving he is the best HW in the world than making lots of money, he will leave the UFC to fight Fedor. Fedor has dominated the division for seven years and has nothing to prove.

If brock left UFC to fight Fedor then Dana would never let Brock Lesnar back in. He's a prick like that, and I don't even think Brock wants to fight him that badly... he's obviously not scared but he has his sights on other things.[QUOTE="pete_merlin"][QUOTE="LoG-Sacrament"] its absurd. i wish they would set him up with a real fight like gsp. He has taken that stupid threat back last week. Now he has gone on record saying anyone who buys EA MMA is "f**king nuts"and something along the lines of UFC fans would be stupid to buy EA MMA. Obviously he feels threatened by their presence in the MMA video game business and is doing anything he can to prevent people from buying their game.[QUOTE="LoG-Sacrament"][QUOTE="pete_merlin"] Give it time, give it timejerkface96id be more patient if they didnt throw bums like demian maia at him :P explain to me how demian maia, is a bum, porbably the stupidest thing ive ever heard.... its a hyperbole indicating that hes fought nobody of note and lost to marquardt whose already been trounced by silva.

and sonnen's resume isnt particularly nifty either. certainly not enough to make him even a bump in the road for silva. they are really grasping for middleweights to throw at him at this point.LoG-Sacrament
Yeah, MW is pretty weak in the UFC, which has really benefited Anderson's legacy since the UFC hype machine never tells you he's dominating a weak division. But Sonnen is a really bad matchup for Silva if Sonnen has a good gameplan. The one time Silva faced an elite wrestler, he was losing until the wrestler decided to be an idiot and strike with him. Maia is also an interesting matchup for Anderson if he has a good gameplan.
mines anderson silva I cant post a pic though Bc Google chrome wont let me D: & I like him bc 1.He's a Beast 2. Were both brazilian :DDDDD

well theres good reason why the division is empty except for silva. nobody who would normally be in title contention wants to have to go through him :P as for maia's matchup, silva has beaten bjj black belts before from the ground. its too bad that henderson left, because that could have been a great rivalry.WOW....im surprised nobody posted this guy yet....

"Destroyed" is putting it mildly. ;)
I think it's a shame that there haven't been that many WEC or Strikeforce guys mentionedf here. One good example would be the SF light heavyweight champ Gegard Mousasi.
The MMA fighter i respect the most is Lavar Johnson. This is why .
My favorite fighter is Jose Aldo. He ended the number one contender fight in 8 second with a flying double knee. How can you not love that?
*bites lip*..... Oh hai! um. Fedor is my favorite fighter, because hes awesomeness. He has an awesome record, and fights with passion. I love watching him, and I think hes a great asset to the sport of MMA. He doesn't showboat, he just goes in and gets the job done. I wish I could meet him in person some day and just say to him "Hey, Fedor... you are pretty damn awesome, keep kicking ass." ... and then like.. i dunno give him a sammich.
Yall can say what you want about Fedor, but it is undeniable that he IS a great fighter.
My 2 cents about Brock... I really am not that big of a fan of him. Yes he is good, I cant say hes not, but he showboats a lot (which I really dont like in a fighter), and instead of working up the chain he was auto-skipped, and I can only wonder if he was skipped up the chain because of his fame, and to "entice" more of the wrestling audiance to watch MMA. I would have a bit more respect for him, IF he would have worked up the chain the proper way instead of only like.. what.. 3 fights?
GSP or Anderson SilvachrisrooR
Anderson silva has become a frigging joke. Yeah he is a great fighter, probably the best, but i lost all respect for him after 112. I actually lost money because he found it better to dance around and act like a full for 5 rounds rather than finish the fight like he could have the ENTIRE five rounds.
It's sad because before 112 White was talkin Silva dropping weight and taking GSP. I would love to see that, but because of Anderson's arrogance, i dont think Dana will give us that. Makes me sick, my favorite fighter against anderson silva... sigh, i hope it is still a probability.
