CLOUD ----- thats an awesome tattoo man, im getting a chinese or japanese dragon in the future as well.

I already have Strength and Courage in Japanese tattoo'd on my upper chest (me and my cousin have both had some unfortunate health problems over teh years, so we both got Strength and Courage together)

Im just trying to decide what dragon i want hehe, there are some amazing ones on some of the foregin movies i watch. Now i just gotta find one that looks cool and means something good to :P

Um are you sure your tattoos say Courage and Strength? Are you even sure your tattoos are even in Japanese? You do know that the Japanese use about 2000 Chinese characters right? I'm not trying to be mean, but alot of tattoo shops have no idea what the Chinese characters on the walls of their shops mean. I remember reading an article where a man got a tattoo thinking it meant integrity or something of that nature and his martial arts instructor finally told him one day it meant puppy. I mean I saw a U.S. soldier in Korea with a tattoo that said car and he thought it mean Strength.

its your body not his so you should be able to get a tattoo if you want. IMO tattoos are sexy on girls if they in the right spot. Wrists, above the ankles and lower back are always great.Blitz_Nemesis

I wouldn't bash you for liking Blink 182, I would just question the reason for getting a tattoo of a band that broke up and a band that you might not like down the road. I've never understood the notion of getting a tattoo of something other than family or personal meaning because you change so much it can end a massive mistake.

I could have had a Limp Bizkit tattoo 10 years ago.

I truely love blink 182. I grew up with their music. All though they broke up three years ago, I still listen to their music daily. I feel that I will always love their music.

This tattoo does more than just show that I love blink 182, it will remind me of my youth. The music I listened to, the way I acted, the people I hung out with.

So that is really why I got this tattoo. Not to just express my love for blink 182, but in the future to remind me of how much fun I had as a teenager.

I'm a pirate, it was an inevitable tattoo. Original design created from pirate lore.

It really depends. They can use different level settings. So the more powerful the setting the more it hurts and the less time it takes to finish. Then the lower the power. The less it hurts but it takes a lot longer. Then it depends on where you get it. Places with a lot of skin wont hurt as much. Places with less skin and more bone will hurt more. Sure it hurts at first but after awhile you get used to it and then its more irritating than hurting. It also depends on your tolerance to pain.

Give getting a tattoo some serious thought. People constantly change, and I've had many friends that got tattoos in their teens and early twenties that absolutely hate them now that they're in their thirties. Laser removal is very painful, expensive, and does not completely remove a tattoo either. You should also consider how getting one will affect things such as getting a job, etc.

Walking into the tattoo shop and picking one out on impulse is one of the worst decisions that people make. That **** is permanent. Oh yea, Tramp Stamps are nasty. UGH......nothing degrades the look of a woman more than a big, fat, ugly tattoo on her lower back. Tattoos are so trendy nowadays.

If you do get one, get it for yourself and no other.

Point is you are going to change and you might turn around hating the tattoo in 10 years. Sure it might remind you of your youth, but so does a picture, you might not even talk to the people you grew up with. Who knows.

When someone years down the road looks at your Blink 182 tattoo they aren't going to think about you, you're youth, or how you felt in 2008, they are going remember that pop-punk band that broke up.

I love looking at tattoos, but I don't think I'll ever get any. I just can't see myself becoming old with them. However, if I ever decided to get one, I'd probably have a giant volcanic island on my back with a fire dragon coming out of the erruption, an earth dragon roaring at the base of the volcano, a water dragon emerging from the water in the foreground, and a wind dragon flying through the clouds in the background.

A less serious tattooo would be a bunch of newspaper puzzles, like crosswords and sudoku on my back, so if I spent a night with the lady, she could do something while I slept. :P
