You just need to put a little more emotion into it (Not actually having to beat up your face in the process). I think part of the problem is you're looking right at the camera... It's kinda hard to look serious with doing a facepalm and trying to say "cheese" at the same time.

Oh you get the point though with saying cheese... But I guess you're right, other people did the same. The best ones in this thread though are the ones with people actually "in the zone" and not just looking at the camera (Or even a cell phone right next to it), if you know what I mean.
