Post Amount?

Hey guys,

I am not new to Gamespot, but what I have been noticing is that a lot of posters along my level here have many more posts here. I see posts in the thousands more often. How do you guys post so much? I am not calling anyone one ( after all I am a level 26 on a geeky gamespot), but I would like to know how you guys rack up your high post counts. Just a question, no judging here.

I bet a lot of it has to do with OT and Roll Call. I see people have conversations in there with multiple people, so I assume the posts just rack up after a short while.

Then there's other people who just post in a variety of forums quite often I guess.

I have more posts than you and I'm level 4 :o

Just post alot is all I can say.

Try to frequent a board for news and stuff, that is what I do

Post in every thread that you have an answer to, post a follow-up reply to anyone that quotes your post, and come to the forum often.

I'm in the same boat as you kinda. I just don't really feel like typing a response that much. Most of the time I would rather just see what other people have to say.Red-Ravens

Oh, you're right. But I'm just asking. Its a general look at the users of gamespot. Some have high post counts but others don't. Nonetheless, its intresting to see how and why other users got other counts. :)

Yeah...I've been on here for multiple years but I have just reached 500 posts. I guess I just like to browse threads and boards. Also, you see people posting in threads and they are clearly there to rack up posts, as their post doesn't offer anything to the thread.

Meh, I've been here since Jan 3, '06 and I think this post count isn't too freaky. In fact, its been stuck in the 13k mark for almost half a year.

Wish I could help but I know not what these posts are of which you speak...(actually you can level without posting)....

It's quite simple, really. Extra time - Life = High post count.

I don't get how there can be that much variance between levels and posts, it's not like you can really earn a ton more for doing other stuff on the side besides posting in the forums.

Some topics move really fast. I made 1,000 posts in 1 day before because of that. :P

I have over 12K in a year just from posting in a bunch of different forums, not just OT. And some are more active than others.Floppy_Jim

I don't have many here, but on Gametrailers I have over 10,000. I got that many simply from just making jokes in General Discussion, talking to my internet buddies on General Discussion, and talking about music in the Media section.

Just post in all the topics you can give a comment to. There's also unions, and Roll Call of course. Well, half of my post count is from Roll Call. Hey, there are people who have a higher post count than me and has the same level. Just keep posting. :D
