I have the V-6 version, an excellent car. But why get an 09 when you can get a 2010?

(many call it a girl car:()
I own a celica. Its pretty cool but not really that fast. However, yeah people say its a girl car but they dont know what they are talking about.Trickedoutps3Celica isn't a girl's car; Eclipses, on the other hand, ARE.

Not if you get an late 90's Eclipse GSX with a 2.0L 4Cyl with a turbo pushing 16 PSI of boost and all wheel drive...which is what ill own along with my GTO by the end of the month
now the regular Eclipse GS's or pretty much any eclipse made after 2001 is a girls car. along with pretty much every Hyundai Tiburon and the Ford Mustang V6

[QUOTE="GTA_dude"][QUOTE="FUBAR24"] at the used car dealership that i went to the other weekend looking at a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX i saw one of those. pretty sick cars for only aroundd 15 grandFUBAR24Hell yeah, I almost bought one. But I decided not too, cause I couldn't find a nice one. I kinda regret my decision :(, but I still like the car that I got, so its all good. yeah ive looked at BMW but ive always been told to stay away from them if they are used cause the realiability after 100K miles goes wayyy down. like the one i was looking at already had its engine replaced and the chassis only had about 80000 miles on it Lmao, What? I dont know who told you that, but thats a pretty crappy source..... My old bmw was up to almost 200,000 (Maybe more, E30s odometer stop around 150K, mine stopped at 147K about 5 years before I got rid of it), and it was still running strong, only got rid of it car it was totaled. My current bimmer I bought it with 94K, and it just recently passes 110K and it is running very strong with only simple mechanical problems (Small things that are expectant in any car, like a bad sensor or clogged fuel filter, all cheap fixes too, I've replaced more parts on my cavalier). They can go well past 250K and still run fine as long as they are kept up on maintenance....but alot of people dont take good car of there car, so maybe that car you looked at, the owner just didn't keep up on maintenance. Alot of people neglect their car, but that goes for any car. And every car starts having some mechanical problems past 100k, BMW has pretty good reliability. Parts arn't expensive either. But I guess that goes off of your source and if you do the maintenance yourself. I've got connections with a bmw parts supply, and I maintain my car myself. BMW's are built really solid, and comparing them to my old cavalier, and my sisters old eclipse gs, I'd much rather own a bimmer. But I have heard that the newer bmws arn't what they used to be, and the quality is going down. But I'm an old school kinda guy, I come from a family of automotive mechanics, and we dont buy cars any newer then 10 years.
