I don't know any other songs by the man, and i wouldn't even have this song listed on my favorite 50 songs of all time list,but when i first heard that verse it immediately hit me, cause that's my view on life AS A WHOLE. Once something is over, IT'S OVER. Don't try to recapture it because it will never be the same. Things always change. It doesn't matter if it's a person, place, time, etc., "you can never look back". Don't live in the past. Live in the present and for the future (unless Marty McFly and the Doc could hook me up with that car, LOL). I live by that verse
