I know there's some sports fans out there, so I was wondering if you have any superstitions when it comes to watching the big game!?I have quite a few, but don't know how they started. My biggest is that I never wear the colors of the other team on gameday (including underwear) and during the playoffs I extend that to the duration of the series (do you have any idea how hard it is not to wear red underwear for a week and a half!?).

I turn on the TV.

Without it the game might cease to exist.

p.s. I never watch sport.

If i dont have tickets i go to my local pub/bar to watch the game on the big screen with my friends. I always, always wear my blue everton shirt to show who i support, i always get their early to get a seat at the front, i always buy four bottles of bud at once so i dont have to lose my seat, and i always scream profanity throughout the game. And i love it. :P

Haha, don't even get me started on the Steelers. That's closer to a religion than a sport.

The only one I really have is that whichever jersey I am wearing when they make it to the playoffs if they do I have to wear that one whenever they play. And if i watched a couple games and they lost, but win every time i listened to the radio, than I will only listen to the radio,or vice versa.

When I'm playing in a big rival game for baseball, I tend to leave a penny in my shoe for good luck.

Before Ultimate Frisbee tournaments that I participate in, I eat a bagel covered at all points with Nutella for breakfast. Then, I create a "ninja cowl" out of my spare shirt. Most people think it's some bizarre quirk or something, but it's just something I do to keep the sun off my neck because I'm too cheap to buy sunscreen.

No rituals for me, most of the time I am not even wearing the jersey of the team I am rooting for, home team or not.

Whups! I thought you were talking about VIDEO games! lol, I was going to say "Make sure everyone else is asleep before I turn on the game- so I won't keep getting bugged" but this also applies to watching the Steelers, etc.
