He starts crying about three minutes in. You can agree or disagree with his policies, but this has got to be the coolest president we've ever had. True human sincerity right there.

Is he talking about Halo 4? Man the day Halo 4 came out all I heard from the internet was how amazing things were, and how much that day had changed things, and a few people (probably PS3 fanboys, like Donald Trump) whining about how much America was failing.
Man people take Halo 4 seriously. Unless something else important happened that I'm not aware of, but who would do something else the day of Halo 4 amirite?
He's a war criminal and he's undermined our civil liberties, but he cried on camera so he's a great guy.He starts crying about three minutes in. You can agree or disagree with his policies, but this has got to be the coolest president we've ever had. True human sincerity right there.

Look at this:
This can be very uncomfortable to look at because it shows that one of the most evil men in history, was a human being. It shows that Hitler could be nice, even flirty. It's terrifying because it means that evil isn't a sterotype. As twisted as his views were, he was in fact a human being and a great leader.

I don't think Hitler being a human makes him very sympathetic considering that he's one of the most despicable humans in human history.
Let's be fair to him, if any of us had run for the President of a country where the G.O.P. is a major political party and succeeded, we'd also be breaking down in tears once we realize just what kind of situation we'd spent months of campaigning to get ourselves into.
LOL, that was just straight up acting. He let the little tear roll down a litle bit lol. What a clown.

"Failure" I wouldn't say so, considering a lot of what he has tried to get through has constantly been "blocked" and the fact that he is dealing with the policies of a previous president who has run the country into the ground.LLYNCESObama has allowed the Republicans to set the narrative in a way in policy. Time and time again he has allowed the Republicans to block him and has caved in to them. If anything he has been trying to hard to play to the center and in return has turned in back on a lot of election promises. Not all is fault, but his inability to force the Republicans into the 21st century is. If anything on countless issues he wasn't far enough to the left.

While I agree he has been overly eager to appeal to bipartisanship, at the end of the day, he doesn't have a whole lot of options to force the republicans to play ball on his terms. They bet everything on obstructionism being able to sink his reelection prospects. They were wrong, and hopefully they'll have learned their lesson, but it did make for a frustrating first term.

Pretty much this. You can't move those who are unwilling, and like I said prior: he did the best with what he was given.

Absolutely. It gives you hope when you realize that eventually lying, rumoring and deception fail and they do NOT workout for you. It gives you hope that the world still functions according to concepts and notions that are good.Let's be fair to him, if any of us had run for the President of a country where the G.O.P. is a major political party and succeeded, we'd also be breaking down in tears once we realize just what kind of situation we'd spent months of campaigning to get ourselves into.

Ehh, that wasn't really what I was trying to say, but I suppose that Obama's and a helluva lot of Democrats are probably crying some tears of comfort and relief too.

I don't believe that the democratic party are saints who are so dedicated to the American people and the well being of the world, but at least they function within a human, somehow civilized framework. The republican party on the other hand seems to function in a totally different spectrum where they make their own rules with a disregard to the mechanics of the world and people living in it. Its something that is commonly shared between right wings everywhere.[QUOTE="Barbariser"][QUOTE="GazaAli"] Absolutely.
