There have been some good ones, but I rank this as one of the best. Really only Colbert's performance which is godly tops this one in my mind. He just came with everything.

GWB did have some good ones though.

That was a fantastic roast of Trump by Obama.... he had it coming.

I seriously wish more humour like this could thrive in the White House. If the parties stopped being so thick headed and actually played around and joked with eachother more maybe they could come to more agreements and **** might actually get done.

Good humor doesn't make a man's politics and decisions mesh with the people those politics and decisions govern. I admit, I like the guy, he seems like a great person. Doesn't change the fact that I and many others genuinely hate what he's doing.

:lol:. He's a great speaker. I like the fact that something like this exsists; it feels almost like a glitzy awards show. The president really doesn't get enough chance to express his personal opinion, and it's all too easy to forget he is only human.

I understand it's all paid for by private press organisations, but has this event always been used to humiliate presidential opponents? I thought these functions were supposed to feel like a chance for the president to take a playful bite back at the hand that teases him (though maybe that's just Bush era stuff :P). Isn't there a serious danger for this (or any) president in being perceived as overly chummy with the press?

Damn, I thought Seth Meyers segment was a mixed bag (sometimes the jokes really worked, sometimes they didn't), but he went at Trump so hard that it made Obama's comments look like child's play.

I believe that was Trumps reaction....

That was pretty brutal... Obama seemed to enjoy that a little bit too much.
