@iandizion713:

Well you implied Prince sold his soul to become a major Star. There is alot of talented people in music and sports but the majority don't make it.

@PSP107: The conspiracy is that people sold their souls to the devil in order to become talented and rich musicians. It dates all the way back at the crossroads and even before then. I remember thats where Son House said Robert Johnson sold his soul. He said Johnson sucked, and then like a month later was the best somehow.

Its rumored that even God and his Angels travel to hell and see him preform.

I had too do some Googling if this Robert Johnson guy. So he sold his soul in Rosedale Mississippi in exchange for women and riches.

@PSP107: Yeah, its a great legend.

"According to legend, as a young man living on a plantation in rural Mississippi, Johnson had a tremendous desire to become a great blues musician. He was instructed to take his guitar to a crossroad near Dockery Plantation at midnight. There he was met by a large black man (actually the Devil) who took the guitar and tuned it. The Devil played a few songs and then returned the guitar to Johnson, giving him mastery of the instrument. This was in effect, a deal with the Devil mirroring the legend of Faust. In exchange for his soul, Johnson was able to create the blues for which he became famous."

Ouch, this really saddens me and has me bummed out. RIP Prince, you were awesome, and made great 80's music.

Yeah, I hear Purple Rain is good and legendary, I like that one too, but I think my personal favorites are Raspberry Beret and Little Red Corvette.
