1.) When you're using real people and "killing" them off, it's risky business, because you can't be sure if it's a storyline or they're actually dead, and the former is usually the case.

2.) Wrestling is essentially a violent soap opera, with crappy writing. Essentially, on wrestling, anything, no matter how ridiculous, can happen.

They did simalar tributes for Owen Hart and Eddie Guerrero, it's not unusual. It's just that the timing of teh McMahon assasination storyline confuses things in the public mind.

For those who don;t know, last week a very popular female wrestler/manager by the name of "Sensational" Sherri martel also passed on at the age of 49. According to some inside sources, the lead producer and writer of Minday Night Raw did not wnat to pay tribute on air for it would conflict with the McMahon assasination storyline.

But overwhelming persuasion from the crew and those who worked with her pushed for a tribute, and so they did include a moment of silence and picture for Sherri on air.

How bad does Vince, his writers, and WWE as a whole look after this whole "fake death" with Vince? I understand that they never would've have anticipated something like this, but they couldn't just do a "retirement" storyline and had to resort to something like that? And how horrible is it that there's many skeptics of this news simply because of the whole Mr. McMahon storyline.

Anyways, sorry for the rant, but God Bless Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy, and his son Daniel. May they RIP. I was a big fan of him and will always be a fan of him. :(
