I have a 96 Toyota Tacoma. Just the 4 Cylinder, 4 Wheel Drive. I rotated my tires yesterday (31.5 inches Pro Comps Mud Terrains). The front left wheel is now grinding and making my steering wheel shake. Does anyone have any idea what that might be? My friend says he thinks I just need to put spacers on the front wheels but I don't understand why I would need todo that when the tire I rotated to the back didn't have that problem. If anyone can give me some advice that would be great! Thanks.

Sounds like they really wore unevenly. You probably need an alignment anyway.

I'm not sure that is the problem but your right. I will look into it. We already have taken a look at the tires and they seem to be fine. The tread is all even.

Just make sure you have the tire on at the right tension and, like I said, get an alignment regardless.

I agree. This is my first vehicle, how much does an alignment cost?

Dang that's alot. I paid like 65 for a four wheel alignment. Best advice is to get a regular mechanic and have him do it. Sometimes the paper has coupons for them too.

Oh okay, just checking. I just don't like people getting ripped off with cars mechanics. Some places offer a lot of crap sometimes.
