Protesters to wear "obama masks" at USCCB meeting

the protesters are wearing Obama masks and holding signs saying "thank you for your silence" at a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The Protesters say that the Bishops should have spoken out more forcefully in condemning Obama's support for abortion.

apparently there is a priest saying that parishioners who voted for "barack hussein obama" shouldn't receive communion until they go to confession. He says that voting for a pro-choice politician constitutes material cooperation in intrinsic evil,is he right? Well sort of, he might be going over his authority (I think the bishops are the ones who have the authority to say such things) but according to a note by Cardinal Ratzinger in 2004 voting for a pro-choice politician can only be done if two conditions are met: 1. You vote for the politician despite, not because of his support for abortion 2. there are proportionate reasons. In this case it is considered "remote material cooperation" and is tolerable.

I agree. Besides, protesting doesn't get results, riots do.
