PS4 Controller not connecting properly.

My ps4 controller is not connecting properly. I was playing some games on my ps4 then randomly my controller starting vibrating, then it disconnected. I tried pushing the home button but the ps4 controller just gives me a very light blue color on the front instead of a normal blue. I tried to reset the controller by pressing the small button on the back but the same light blue light on the front. When i turned off the ps4 and then turned it back on by using the remote it just gives me that light blue problem and yes it turned on the ps4 but i can't do anything. I am so frustrated right now, so i'm asking one of you guys/girls to help me with this problem please.

Did you try syncing it to the PS4 by hooking it up directly to the PS4 via the charging cable? Try turning off the PS4, then hooking the controlling up directly to the PS4 via the charging cable. Then turn on the PS4 from the system, then while the PS4 is in the process of turning on hit the PS button on the controller syncing it to the PS4
