it said it was mostly white girls that started developing sooner, yet the percentage of black girls was higher? i don't get it.
That's strange, the article appears to contradict itself.it said it was mostly white girls that started developing sooner, yet the percentage of black girls was higher? i don't get it.

Don't tell that creepy dude in the other thread who was like 30 talking about how he fantasizes about 13 year old girls.
Oh my! That's not good, more Ke$ha's and Britney Spears' in the makingFoxi911It's probably BECASUE of those Ke$sa and Britney.
White girls had a higher jump percentagwise(butchered that word, I know) than black girls. I think that's what they mean.it said it was mostly white girls that started developing sooner, yet the percentage of black girls was higher? i don't get it.

[QUOTE="needled24-7"]That's strange, the article appears to contradict itself. The % of white girls doubled, while the black girls doesn't double, even though the jump is higher.it said it was mostly white girls that started developing sooner, yet the percentage of black girls was higher? i don't get it.

what the hell is worrying about nature taking its course :?GazaAliIf people develope earlier, they are going to be sexually active earlier. Which will cause more teenage (Or pre-teenage, in this case) pregnancies and other problems associated with underage sex.
Still I doubt the laws will change anytime soon.I don't think I'm the only one glad to hear this :P

Still I doubt the laws will change anytime soon. I don't like where this is heading... I don't either. This thread is sure to bring out certain people from lurking.....:lol:Absolutely correct. "I swear I didn't know she was 9, she told me she was 16!" says the highschool kid caught with his pants down.Checking a girls age is becoming more and more necessary...

what the hell is worrying about nature taking its course :?GazaAliThing is, it's not necessarily nature taking its course. It's theorized that there are growth hormones in the food we eat, such as beef and chicken, that are making girls develop earlier than they should. Really, girls are supposed to start puberty around the ages of 10 - 13. Now it's around 7 or 8 - 10 years of age, a lot earlier than it was before and it's a bit concerning.
oh boy...
this just smells of new problems to come out of this

That depends on your definition of "problem."
The only appropriate response is to lower the age of consent!
Seriously, though ...
An MSNBC video on the topic linked the phenomenon to childhood obesity: A greater percentage of fat cells correlates with greater hormone levels which, in turn, precipitates early pubescence.

Maybe pregnancy at a really young age.Doesn't sound like such a problem if their parents raise them right.

Well, of course, 7 year old kids shouldn't be having sex, even if the body is developed that doesn't means they have reached psychological maturity, they are still very young and they should be protected by their parents, still it exist the risk of pregnancy for whatever reason and that endangers the health of the girl.[QUOTE="hartsickdiscipl"][QUOTE="dragon7x2k"] Maybe pregnancy at a really young age.MasterBolt360

I want to agree, but I don't think that would work out well for anyone.I'm not saying that the pregnancies wouldn't be a problem, I'm saying that they wouldn't get pregnant in the first place if their parents raised them right.

Not all parents are good or care. That's the sad truth. Some put their babies in suitcases and stow them on a shelf.
