To piggyback, the other thing to do is to more adequately fund and train educators in these poorer, black areas (other ethnic minorities as well). The easiest way to end a group's systemic oppression is to educate the young. It's a simple premise, but it does a world of difference. Reintroduce more and more extracurriculars, cheaply, and give those same educators the support they need to support the kids.

This group and many groups like them would rather through out the baby with the bath water. The same as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson do not want to see blacks be equal with whites because there would be no need for them. The black community must re-establish the family unit before any real change and advancement can be accomplished. Education and jobs won't solve the problem. It is a problem that goes deeper than just that. You must want to better yourself first. They have been told so long that they are victims and cannot get ahead because of the whites they now believe it and don't try to help themselves but rather depend on a government who will never help them as long as they just keeping getting their vote. The black community had made great strides until the Great Society programs of the sixties where it all turned around for the worse for them.

I don't think media wants to give both side of story... That doesn't generate money.

It's pathetic that cops are protesting his movies because of his action in the police brutality protest. His protest was against POLICE BRUTALITY not police in general. Essentially what they're doing with all this noise is distracting people from the issue of police brutality and attempting to villanize Tarantino. It's quite sad.
