So, he was hallucinating the whole Cuddy thing, right? Why did he go to a psych ward though? I thought his hallucinations were vicadin-enduced, so would he be going to rehab?

Yes, he hallucinated the whole Cuddy thing. But while I'm sure the vicodin had something to do with his hallucinations, maybe the character thought otherwise? Maybe there's more to it than just the vicodin? I mean, going to a mental institution after the amount of hallucinations he's experienced over the last few episodes doesn't sound like a bad idea...

It was partially induced by the vicadin, however it all really started because of (SPOILERS once again) Kutner's suicide. That's why he decided to on going to the psych ward
