Have your family ever complain about you practicing? My mom would only tell me to stop playing if it's too late. And my brothers never complained that I was noisy. So I guess I'm quite lucky.

I'm an only child and I only live with my mother, and she never complains, all she cares about is that I practice.
I guess I'm lucky, too.
I was very fortunate in that I grew up in the country and could play as loud as I wanted and nobody was around to complain. Now that I live in the city... I have to basically play very quietly. :)
there's a lady across the road that gives me evils through my window when i play. nobody else seems to mind, i play at reasonable times.
my neighbours moved out when i started playing drums, lol. We're getting new ones after 5 years of the house being empty... I'm not looking forward to it. :(
Yep. Dad doesn't like me playing drums. He's always working in the downstairs office. Oh well, I'll move out soon enough

The instruments i use are electric and support headphones. :P
Why don't you get an electric set. And you should had banged away at the drums whenever someone went to view the house. :Pmy neighbours moved out when i started playing drums, lol. We're getting new ones after 5 years of the house being empty... I'm not looking forward to it. :(

My family doesn't really complain about it. Sometimes they tell me I was kinda loud after I'm done playing. I play piano and guitar, and the piano is digital so I can use headphones. If I really needed to, I could use a portable guitar amp which allows headphones too.

I've never had any complaints, unless they're watching a movie or listening to music, which is understandable. I mostly play when I get back from college, while I'm alone. It's not really because I don't want to annoy them so much as I don't want them to annoy me
When your guitar heroes are Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo and Michael Gira, things can get... noisy :P
yeah only if it's late. otherwise, my mom says she likes when i play. guess that means i'm pretty good 8) :P
Yes. Not only because of the noise but also I forgot about my school and stick with my bandmates. Well, it's not my mom but my uncle and her wife.Have your family ever complain about you practicing? They more complain about me not practicing enough. But they get annoyed if I practice too late at night.
My room is far from theirs so usually not. I used to get complaints when I was an amateur and played too loudly. Now I actually get compliments.
If my dad ever complained about the noise he'd be a hypocrite. And my mom's probably used to it by now. So no, they don't complain.
