If you drink a lot, and get raunchy with somebody, chances are their place is not as close-by as first anticipated.

That's all you need to hear, I assure you!

That's awesome. I wonder how many miles away we are talking. The worst I ever did was wake up on a lake

[QUOTE="rawsavon"] ITT: several female members of GS went missing and ended up in Texas...weird how that happened >_>cybrcatter

I ain't been to Texas in a while, I need to check out our office down there one day too, ain't been there yet. See ya soon. I'll get the booze. ;)

Sound like Texas is where the party's going to be. Time to cash in on those frequent flier miles...

Only problem is, I am supposed to be headed to Canada next week and I don't know for how long.

Over 150, not that I minded at the time. I was an adventurous young lass, bar-hopping and club-hopping, living with mostly friends or whoever took me. My, how I've settled down. . . . D:

The benefit is not worrying if you'll awake with an unwanted tattoo or a missing kidney.

Tell the boss that you have a xxxx conference that you need to go to over the weekend. That's what I usually do. There's bound to be some sort of conference related to your field going on in TX. Drop in, get proof that you were there, then head on over to raw's.

TC, all of the guys I know - with all kinds of personalities and quirks- who are good with the ladies have one thing in common above all else: confidence. Be whomever you are, and don't change yourself for anyone. (You'll just end up being with someone who doesn't click with you anyway if you go that rout). Just make sure you are confident in yourself. Do that, and everything else will fall into place :) cybrcatter

yeah, but what if just being yourself is the worst possible thing? what if you're a total babe repellent? you have to change yourself to some degree. sure, not your entire state of mind, but your looks for sure. unless you're already a 6 foot 5 man mountain who reeks of success. but if you're an average guy, you're gonna have to see what women find attractive in men.

In this isolated example, this gal could probably rip a phonebook in half, so I'm guessing she could down a gallon of moonshine and barely receive a buzz.

It seemed to me that TC wasn't asking about looks.

Besides, from what I've perceived over time, personality seems to be more of a factor for a male's date-ability than looks.

We have an office somewhere around the Houston area. I just haven't been there yet. My boss already knows that I am headed to Canada, he's the one who assigned me to go so telling him I have a conference in Texas is a no go. The real bummer is I am sharing the cost of a limo with my brother and sister along with dinner for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and I can't go now (but we everyone knew this was a possiblity). Work first.

TC is attractive enough (even if a little on the small/skinny side)
...was brave enough to post a pic with no clothes on here (blacked out the goods though)

They better damn well appreciate you paying for half.:x

Every time work gets in the way of fun, I just tell myself "at least I have this job".

The solace lasts for about two seconds before I hit the scotch. :P

A third, but still expensive and I have never ridden in a limo before. I hope my bro gets a nice one for the price.

Yeah, earlier this year when I went to Canada, I sat around for 4 weeks and maybe worked 25 actual hours at the job I do. 17 or so hours were in the last 2 days of the job. Still, it's nice to get paid to play video games and watch movies.

I think this thread has made it obvious that women don't like guys who visit gaming websites.

so you're saying some slob who buys all of his clothes from garage sales and has a truly distinct odor can get women? just because they have a good personality? looks are the first thing you notice when you see someone. it's part of the reason you go up to talk to someone you hope to hook up with in the first place.

I did not say that, nor was that what I was implying. Just because one factor is more important than another does not mean that the rest are discarded altogether.

[QUOTE="rawsavon"]The nice guy act was never my thing...but maybe you will have better luck with it TCdracula_16

It's good for getting into the friend zone, but not much else. :P

The friend zone doesn't actually exist. If a girl doesn't like you, it's because she doesn't like you, not because you waited too long to make a move and suddenly became a friend to her and nothing else for the rest of eternity. If the girl actually likes you, being friends for a long time isn't a problem at all.
