TC, all of the guys I know - with all kinds of personalities and quirks- who are good with the ladies have one thing in common above all else: confidence. Be whomever you are, and don't change yourself for anyone. (You'll just end up being with someone who doesn't click with you anyway if you go that rout). Just make sure you are confident in yourself. We have an office somewhere around the Houston area. I just haven't been there yet. My boss already knows that I am headed to Canada, he's the one who assigned me to go so telling him I have a conference in Texas is a no go. The real bummer is I am sharing the cost of a limo with my brother and sister along with dinner for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and I can't go now (but we everyone knew this was a possiblity). Work first.

Yeah, earlier this year when I went to Canada, I sat around for 4 weeks and maybe worked 25 actual hours at the job I do. 17 or so hours were in the last 2 days of the job. Still, it's nice to get paid to play video games and watch movies.

The friend zone doesn't actually exist. If a girl doesn't like you, it's because she doesn't like you, not because you waited too long to make a move and suddenly became a friend to her and nothing else for the rest of eternity. If the girl actually likes you, being friends for a long time isn't a problem at all.
