If you've ever shopped there you can tell its not a fun place to be by the looks on their faces and their attitudes.
..its a start but dont settle for that.
I have heard the pay isn't too good, but if you buy products from walmart on a weekly basis, then it could turn out being a good job if you need to pay the bills.F-14Bombcat
yea that's my main thing is bills i need to pay off tired of the debt collectors calling and nned the money will most likely need to find a new place to live soon. Just hope they are not strict on tattoo's

WHY DO PEOPLE GET TATTOOS AND PIERCINGS :evil:!!!
People think it is cool to have a tattoo when their young, but now many people I know who got tattoos now regret them because it is hard to get a well paying job. When you go in for an interview, try to somehow cover any tattoos you have, because interviewers first impressions are their looks, and if you look like a criminal, then they will tend not to hire you.
True but can't be worse than my last job which was pretty much a sweat shop pay wasnt that great there either but it payed. plus they are the only place to have called me was hoping that best buy would have called but o well.Rasjr20Take the job, and then once you put in a good chunk of time (at least 3-6 months) start looking for another job. Wal-Mart isn't a great place to work, but if you put in enough effort a place with as many employees and as high a turnoverrateas Wal Mart you'll be able to get a promotion pretty quickly, which would really help you get a job elsewhere.
Don't worry i cover my tattoo's most the time and the last few interviews i had i got the job and most the time the interviewer asked me were i got them, but trust me im not as bad as some of my friends who get them on thier hands which are just..yea but they still got thier decent paying job's which shocked me.Rasjr20
Good :). I think it is alright if your tattoos are coverable. I have yet to figure out why people get tattoos on their hands:?. Hopefully I did not offend you, I just like to keep my body a clean canvas :D.
[QUOTE="Rasjr20"][QUOTE="kdt55"]The benefits aren't that bad.PBSnipes
Thats good im not gonna have any insurance when i turn 21 so im gonna need some.
Compared to other similar retailers they are pretty bad benefits.I say we put Target, Wal-Mart, KMart, and whatever other Mart-like store in a side by side benefits comparison. My money is on Wal Mart.
The pay and benefits are some of the worst in the civilized world, plus they generally treat their workers like ****. It would be a good start, but after 3-6 months I'd start shopping around my resume for another job.PBSnipesAnd i wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing i work there...............
