I do not know why, but most of the movies I REALLY like end up with bad reviews, like Eagle Eye and stuff.

One particular movie that still holds a special place in my heart is the Beautician and the Beast, I don't know why but I love this movie insanely, but it was shot down unmerciful by critics. And people mock me for it.

What about you? What "bad" movies do you REALLY like?

None of them... because people just look at blood and say that it has to be good. There is more to that. a LOT more.

I usually don't bother reading reviews if I'm honest, I'm sure a few of my favorites have been rated bad.

Is that the one with Timothy Dalton as some sort of east European dictator and the actress who plays Janice in Friends? It rings a bell. And yes, I thoroughly enjoyed Eagle Eye as well.

Transformers, Eagle Eye, Spider-Man 3, Indiana Jones 4, the Star Wars prequel trilogy (Indy and Star Wars weren't rated bad, just not up to standards), and The Patriot.

Wow, well that makes sense I guess. Raimi pushed the envelope for horror flicks with Evil Dead but what about the rest of the trilogy (I hate rotten tomatoes btw XD)

Last Action Hero, Face/Off, Any Given Sunday and The Last Boy Scout are classics in my book :P And I'm surprised that "Road To Perdition" didn't get more praise than it did.

My so-bad-that-it's good movie has to be 'The Italian Job' with Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron. This is one that I probably shouldn't watch over and over again, but I do. It's no where near as edgy, violent or cool as it could have been, but it's good light entertainment. The heist(s) were fun and imaginative, as well as the chase sequences.

Also, Edward Norton stood out as the annoying, wimpish bad guy, Jason Statham was funny and charming, and Charlize Theron held her own with the all male cast.
Love it when she punched Norton's character at the end. :D
Even though the original is far better, this is a fun re-imaging in my book.

Wait what? Evil Dead got 100% and Evil Dead 2 98% on Rotten Tomatoes.

EDIT: Nevermind, somebody beat me to it:P.

I'm a horror freak and I love a lot of them, and the majority tend to get bad reviews. Doesn't matter to me, they reviews don't change my opinion of it.

The movie really creeps me out towards the end where...
They're out on the surface on Mars, suffocating until the oxygen comes in the atmosphere
Scary looking faces.

Oh yeah. Another reason why it is cool.:P The production values were great for a movie in 1990 too.

Burt Reynolds movies from the 1970s. They're pretty bad, but I can't help but like them. Movies like White Lightning and Gator. The pics say it all:

"It's my kind of film. Booze, broads, car chases, corruption and revenge - all the things that make life worthwhile". :P

And then there's Gator.

Oh yeah.

Braveheart has awesome ratings..

Anyways.... Terminator!

And uhhh... I thought that You, Me and Dupree was alright.

I can't think of many others, but I'm sure there are quite a few. Critics are way way too harsh, and occasionally dead wrong (Ebert thought that Gladiator and LOTR: The Fellowship were terrible).
