I totally agree with Russia on this one, and am glad they stated it rather than just wait till it happened to respond. Also I think it would be totally hilarious if Russia decides they want "anti-missiles" on Mexico or something.Penguin_dragon

i think that is actually the best solution

Russia is just scared, and are scary. Anyone with nukes is a threat, and they just want to protect themselves from other countries with nukes.

I just hope they acually follow whatever they signed. Or else there definately could be some tension, which may or may not lead to trouble.

Poland is allowed to ally with whoever they want really, its not Russia's job to decide who they ally with. Although I don't think America should go and build defence missles there. I also don't see why thats so bad, if they are for defence, and you don't plan to ever again go on the offence(as that would lead to a nuclear war and the death of everyone), then what is the problem?diped

Russia's only nuclear defense is mutually assured destruction so as soon as the missile shild goes up it means that russian missiles can be shot down and therefore no mutually assured destruction so russia has no defence. It also allows the US to manage other country's wars that involve long range missiles as they could shoot down anyones whether they're heading for an ally or they wish to manipulate another war.

I really dont blame Russia at all, america is a country that cannot be trusted in the slightest and will do whatever they want to suit their own selfish needs.

I hope Russia does make a stand against them, its bout time someone did.

But if they move their Iskander theater quasi-ballistic missile into Belarus maybe if situation escalates then they could targeted Poland with convectional warheads
