The visuals and make-up are excellent, the atmosphere is also great. The writing however is pretty bad, there have only been 3 episodes so far, but if it doesn't start picking up soon. I'm probably gonna stop watching it. I was so excited when I saw the first previews, but I have been disappointed so far.
Did anyone else feel good when Shane was pulverizing that wife beating hillbilly? That was probably one of the best beatdowns I've seen on TV.
It's too bad the season's already halfway done, and we'll probably have to wait a long time for the next season :(

It was already renewed by AMC over a week ago. Something tells me the production started the moment they had clearance.

Unfortunately.. i think on the first page theres a link about it.. I've just finished the first one, comic.. I kind of hope they're doing something to prolong the ending they have in this..

Yeah i was going to say, i've noticed quite a few differences between the comic and show. I like that they are going different ways with it here and there, it's fresh. I have to say though, John Bernthal plays Shane great and i do like his character on the show, but not really in the comic..
:shock: This was the best episode yet, of anything, ever :P I can't believe how intense the last 10 minutes or so were.. i expect it from the scene from the comics, but i was still like :o Wow, i can't wait until the next episode, it's going to kill me the break between season 1 and 2.. There best be an apocalypse to keep my busy.. ;)

I have to say the second half was definitely a lot better, how come you didn't enjoy it though? I found the gang sub-plot to be almost unbearable. The ending was good, but it didn't fix the crap that followed it. I liked the third episode quite a bit. The show still hasn't come close to it's premiere.

I have to agree i wasn't a huge fan of the gang thing, i was glad when it ended.. But apart from that i thought it was a brilliant episode. I've liked them all, the second one the least..
