The Black Panthers did not teach black supremecy. They taught self empowerment, and were strongly supported by white college students at the time, although they (white students) could not join due to the panthers wanting us (blacks) to help ourselves. That is not racist.

You could have said The Nation of Islam and been closer, but I don't think of them as a black supremecy group either.

How does a "good judge of character" reach the opinion that they are supremacists when they simply were a group of vigilantes policing the police in Oakland, California (after the cops had a string of murders against blacks. A problem that is still going on there, it seems).

Its in MY timeline (It was more late 60's early 70's which is not that long ago). The New Black Panther Party (they do have different names too, I may point out) is an entirely different beast. I have no idea WHAT they believe, as they are not even widespread or a national organization. So WE (before you even quoted me) were talking about THE Black Panther Party. So as long as you can concede that The Black Panther Party was not a supremecy group, we are done here.

(and the Klan has always taught supremecy and fear mongering, I may add. Again, not the same. The BPP only targeted the police, not civilians at all.)
