[QUOTE="Lockedge"]COuld be interesting. However, not even Radiohead could make me watch the grammy's.KLAX42
Then what in god's name could?! :o
Speaking for myself, nothing could get me to watch the grammys. Because:
Grammy's are like the Academy Awards, simply there to wax each others sexual organs...ConformestClone
[QUOTE="SAGE_OF_FIRE"] :| Sarcasm? Ninja-HippoNot at all. The Bends was fairly conventional rock music. They hadn't started exploring much at all with that album, and i consider it one of their weakest. It irks me slightly when people seem to love the likes of Just or Street Spirit when radiohead have done phenomenally better stuff than that. Of all the incredible music they've made, you'd rather they play street spirit at the grammys? :? Not everyone likes the overly experimental stuff they've done. Street Spirit is one of their best songs, and not "conventional" in any way.
that was dancing :| ?Not a bad perfomance, certainly not great though.
But Thom's dancing was pretty amazing.

Yeah, it kinda reminded me of how a snake moves when some old guy is sitting there charming it.
Still pretty sexy though.

I dont think it's "conventional" at all, i just think it's very boring and nowhere near as ambitious or as beautiful as the other music they've made, and i dont understand personally how anyone could listen to OK computer, hail to the thief, amnesiac and kid a and then want them to play street spirit. But that's how opinions work i guess. :P I guess so.
Radiohead is a really popular band, for your infoFrom what I've read online it's almost certain that they'll be playing 15 Step.
Which is great because everybody watching (who probably have no idea who Radiohead are) will get to see one of these:

I find the Bends and Ok computer there best albums SAGE_OF_FIREmy thoughts: OK Computer > The Bends > In Rainbows = Hail to the Theif = Amnesiac = Kid A > Pablo Honey.

They were robbed of their album of the year award, which obviously went to them. Guess that's why nobody takes the Grammys seriously. And from what I understand, Ed and Colin were in the audience but Phil was nowhere to be found. Ed and Phil's parts were taken care of by the marching band, though so I guess that's alright. It was a good performance.

A week later, I bought OK Computer. Then it pretty much took off from there.:PMy first was Creep, but when I actually sarted listening to them I realized I'd heard them before.

Most everybody who tuned in yesterday was probably watching to see Miley, Lil Wayne, or Jonas Brothers. :? Radiohead were probably just some homeless-looking singer and and hunchback emo guitar player.
