Rage Against the Machine for Christmas Number One

I don't know if you'll all have heard or not but this years race to christmas number one is extremely close, a big campaign has been set up to get Rage Against the Machines 'Killing in the Name of' to number one. It's up against the UKs version of American Idol. The Xfactor finalist has released some smaltzy dreary piece of pop trash and real music lovers all over the UK are trying to fight the music monopoly that exists in this day and age and start anew for the next decade.

I know this is annoying but really it'll only take 5 minutes of your time. Here is the facebook group with the links to the websites where you can download the single.

I support rage but let's face it... they're gonna lose. Simply because too many people have given up on music and they just sit on their arses watching this ****

I think it's really stupid and pointless.

Don't they both belong to Sony labels? I don't see the point here to be honest..

More of the proceeds go to charity if Rage win, plus its more a statement about how we're all tired of **** pop music

the whole x factor thing is geared towards the winner hitting the number 1 spot at xmas and it's just a bit predictable after five years in a row and maybe we don't all want much the same every year.Maybe simon cowell and his cronies won't be so arrogant as to think they have the god given right to it from now on.Hope that Joe kid has done alright out of it in terms of record sales because i can't see him been around for too long anyway.
