Ramen noodles are great when prepared the right way. I always add beef, egg, soy sauce, hint of lime, all these Asian noodle paste/spices with it.
They do taste good, but they have a ton of sodium, so I rarely eat them.

Sodium is good for you too, just like everything else.
Packaged Ramen noodles aren't real Ramen. Now that's good.
It's too bad "Ramen" came to mean "instant noodles" in the west. Real "Ramen" is a Japanese take on Chinese noodle soup. Or well, more like one recipe or something.

Exactly. I thought the only reason people bought them was because they can be purchased in enormous quantities for next to nothing, and require no cooking skill to make. They taste awful.
There are better tasting instant noodle brands that aren't sold in the west. Unless you go to a Japanese or Korean supermarket.

No thanks. I know how to cook real food.

I wasn't suggesting them to you. I'm just saying that there are edible ones that are good for when you don't have time to cook.
I had to live through two months by eating noodles almost exclusively for lunch due to my lacking cooking skills and I will disagree. I hope I don't have to eat one of those ever again, unless of course I decide to take yet another exchange student program where I end up living all by myself. :P
