Yeah he's cool, I actually like Dipset a little. I guess it's because Camron wears so much pink and raps about the weirdest thing.

What could possess you to make such a broad generalization?the fact that the only rap i ever hear is on the radio.
which is usually mainstream stuff like that. Not saying there's not good stuff, i just don't try to find it :P
[QUOTE="the_greenzero"][QUOTE="Bloodbath_87"]I like both. What about that?Bloodbath_87
Yeah I do too.
*high five*There we go, I'm from New Orleans so it's kinda like embedded in my DNA.
[QUOTE="DarkPrinceXC"]Anything over rap pretty much. -Sluggo-
Even country?
Yeah, I like a lot of country music. New stuff, I'm not a fan of Oldies Country. ;)
This isn't the place for this question because the majority of people here hate rap.
but to answer the question, I prefer rap cause I like "songs that talk about drugs, money, shoes and women"
barcx17
I know that is sarcasm, but the better rap does not talk about drugs, money, or women.
Well, maybe alcohol, lack of money, and being burnt by women.

Eww.
I get headaches and get very angry when listening to country.
When I say I listen to country, it means Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash, Rascal Flatts, etc. More of the popular stuff.

Wow, you really don't like country, do you?Rock, mainly. Rock has had a longer history, and as such, has had the greater opportunity of having great artists.
Rap, on the other hand, has suffered from having prominent artists who do not fully realize the potential of the genre. >_>

To each his own. But Shania Twain's "You're Still the One" is so beautiful..... :(

That's true for the mainstream artists.
Underground is where it is at.

Perhaps.Though someone posted a thread about 'good underground artists' and linked a few. I clicked on the first link, and I wasn't impressed at all.
I do recall listening to a Tupac song, and I did greatly like it, however.

Most "underground artists" that people have suggested in OT have not been good, IMO.
