Haven't heard much from 70's unfortunately. What were good pop bands from 70's ?

Nuck81

Disco was big.....actually the 70s weren't a very good decade overall for entertainment.

Clueless. The 60's and early 70's is considered one of the greatest era's in music. Not just Rock and Roll but Fusion, Classical, Jazz, Country, Electronica, you name it. There was an amazing amount of innovation, talent, and expression. Electronic amplification and synthesizers had become available enough that any garage band or aspiring artist could afford it, and all the undiscovered talent was able to hit the road. There are entire College Degree's based on the history of this era.

 You really hate him, don't you?

Don't pay much attention to him. There are college degree courses based on most anything in pop culture now. Doesn't mean a thing except they can make money teaching it. There is some thought by those that study decades that the 70s was one of the weakest decades. Nonetheless, as I say about every decade...there is good and bad. But don't pay attention to the junior troll. He has a **** ** for me....

If by hate you mean Pity, then yes. It's a shame that human life and resources are wasted on dumbasses and fat losers. If only he had gotten some encouragement or a hug from someone that he looked up to, he may have made something of himself. Instead he has been a failure at every turn, and spends his days roaming forums on the Internet, wearing sweatpants and drinking Mt Dew Code Red.

Can you provide any sort of proof on that? What's your college degree in by the way?

I grew up with his music. Careless Whisper's sax solo is especially nostalgic. But anything past his 90's stuff sucks aside from "Amazing" and "White Light". I'm passionate about 80's music overall.

I quite like George. Great at Freddie Mercury's tribute concert - great voice. A troubled fellow though - terrible at that Olympics ceremony. And Wham were pretty sh!t perhaps bar 1 or 2 tracks. Probably 1.

It takes a period of proper sh!t music to fuel such an interesting counterculture as per the 70s. As of now though some of that counterculture sounds awful and some of the uniform sh!te in the earier part of the decade is now 'kitsch'. I think the people who studied the period are concluded it weak probably didn't take drugs. Anyway. George - good bloke.

Careless Whisper came out around the same time as Cadbury's Whisper if you remember. I can never seperate the 2 - they'l be forever intertwined in some smooth and somewhat silky unison.
