Anyway here's my rough sketch of Cole from Infamous.

Not my best, but it's alright.

[QUOTE="spazzx625"]From the waist up it's actually really good From the waist down...It looks like he has 1 leg and the legs are disproportionate to the rest of him.Iceozo
I see the second leg.
The leg is there from the knee down...Not from the knee up. The way it's drawn makes it seem like his leg bends in two spots5/10.
Pretty cool for what looks like a rough sketch in a school notebook, but I can't really give it any higher because of that.

The coloring is far too light and rough looking.
It was my first ever full colour drawing, so yea, not that good.

I'm going to give you usual tips that I tell everyone struggling with artwork:
1) Learn basic anatomy- If you don't know what you're drawing or how to draw something, use lots of references. If you don't understand what you're seeing, then it's going to be hard to draw it out. Animators and character artists need an extensive knowledge of artistic anatomy in order to know how to draw the human body. Artistic anatomy differs from regular anatomy because you learn all the superficial muscles of the body and how they appear on the outside while regular anatomy deals with all the details of the human body (like organs and blood vessels, etc.) Just a basic knowledge of artistic anatomy will help you improve yourself.
2) Learn perspective. A good way of looking at perspective is: Object A is close to you, Object B is away from you-- make it look that way. This may require you to draw perspective lines that can be a hassle, but they will make your drawing look better in the long run.
3) This drawing is sloppy. Would it help to clean up your lines? Yes. It definitely would.
4) You drew this on lined paper. Never ever present a drawing on lined paper. What, was there no regular paper around? Do yourself a favor and get a sketchbook or something. That way you can practice drawing whenever you have the chance and hopefully improve yourself.
My critique may sound harsh, but critiques are the only way you can improve yourself. If I told you that you did a great job when truthfully you actually did a terrible job, then how are you supposed to improve yourself with that? It would be like finding out that your kid got an "F" on his test then telling him/her that he/she did a great job. Sure, your words have kind intention, but it would also just encourage them to do poorly on future tests.
On the other hand if you found out that your kid failed a test and then instead of letting them know that you're okay with that, you show them more effective ways of studying and the result would be that they would do better on the next test.
I'm not saying that by following my tips will drastically improve your art overnight, but it will definitely lead to improvementswith time.If you want to improve your drawing skills, then you have to commit yourself to becoming better.

I understand, see, I sketched this during a religion lesson, on the back of my book, took me around 5 mins. Oh and I like to make my drawing as sketchy as possible, so I deliberately make the lines messy. But thanks for the advices anyway.
