What's OT's opinion on Three Days Grace? Rate them on a scale from 1-10.

Me, I rate them 9/10. Used to be my favorite band. Still in my top 5.

Uh, no. THeir lyrics are angsty and unimaginative, they use simple chords and don't even show much technical proficiency in doing so, they use the same keys and scales over and over, they rely on distortion to cover up their flaws, and their songs all sound the same. They suck, end of story.

I just listened to one of their songs, as I've never actually heard a song by them. My 0/10 still stands; they seem like a band aimed at girls.

Simple is too kind a word, a five year old could write their songs. And this is the difference in our arguments, I am specific in my criticisms while you are just relying on words like "good." What is "good" exactly?

They don't just strum the same chord twice, in fact that's not at all what I'm talking about. They use the exact same damn chords in every one of their songs, sometimes in practically the same order and rythym. All they do is substitute one set of angsty lyrics for another, same damn song, but angsty pre-teens will pay them twice anyways. They objectively suck.

I don't have Parkinson's disease, therefore I can play the guitar better than them. That's honestly the requirement for being able to outplay them is being able to pick up a guitar and strum in rythym.
