- clear entrance
- clear village
- walk over to road block

- 4 - 6 emnies spawn right in the middle of the road block when it is attacked
- more emnies spawn from the direction of the village

this isn't buggy at all! ;D

Just came home and ate dinner. I stopped one of my simulations because it was running for 2 hours without going anywhere.

o; it does!
see, that type of thing wouldn't be that weird in a lot of games. when I was typing it I was thinking, "wait.. that doesn't sound buggy.."

but I'm playin' Crysis and I figure all the emnies are already there, or spawn out of sight or in a way that makes sense, like with a helicopter.
but it was like: attack one guy -> several spawn right in your face

I hid in a wooden crate :L
I escaped by throwin' a grenade thing right up in the air into the ceiling, then Speed mode'd to some cover.
I woulda been fine, but then the people spawned from where I came from >;o

I just had a differential equations midterm. I was actually allowed to use notes and a graphing calculator. \o/ That's pretty unusual for a math class. I've also been reading a lot, too, like about some things going in the world. Specifically, I've been reading about the stuff going in North Korea. I was glad to find out that the people of North Korea are getting more and more open about their displeasure with Kim Jong-un, the current ruler. ^^ So the world isn't 100% terrible.

No super calculators for use here :{ they are dis pleasured?why?

No one actually likes Kim Jong-un - those who claim to like him are just scared of being persecuted, because Kim Jong-un is a brutal dictator. He, like the rulers before him, emphasizes spending 60% of North Korea's GDP on military expeditures at the expense of necessities for the people of North Korea. It's so bad that the country actually asks for handouts from countries like Japan and the USA. The country is needy just because of spending too much money on the military. Even the rich people in North Korea can barely afford rice, and the government has recently decided that anyone who is caught stealing rice will be shot by the police.

And that's not all - the people whom the rulers don't like, such as mere dissidents and people who complain about government policies, are sent to concentration camps where they are basically enslaved and have very few rights. They face immense torture merely for not being in total agreement with the state. As an example of torture, children are subject to torture and lethal beatings if they disobey the authorities. I heard of a 9-year-old girl who was beaten to death for keeping rice in her pocket - she was starving and wanted to save some food for herself. And the authorities have no interest in treating the prisoners as human beings - there are numerous reports of sudden executions and incidents of sexual assault (some women have even been raped in public in those camps). They happen every single day. Finally, the prisoners aren't even given enough necessities to survive; for a child to find something more nutritious than a rat is rare.

It's a really bad situation, and I'm happy to hear that the people of North Korea, after being suppressed for so long, are now starting to speak out in spite of the danger of being persecuted by the government.

sorry that was long hehe ^^

Because the government there is so brutal and authoritarian, it's unlikely for someone to stand up openly and not get assassinated by government officials in North Korea. Nor can outside governments help, because they're all worried about saving their own asses; they don't want to help others unless it's in their interests. All of the countries surrounding North Korea are selfish and only care about their welfare for the most part. This is how it is for a lot of geopolitical conflicts. Like the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; people don't want to interfere because they're all so worried about making other people upset.

What North Korea really needs is outside intervention, and not from other governments, because they have yet to show us that they are willing to help others without expecting things in return. Unfortunately, because governments can't help, that makes the whole situation much more complicated. I'm sure there's a solution out there, though. I like to be optimistic. ^^

I know you wont like this example, but isn't that what happened during the Islamic revolution in Iran? The guy moved the revolution...from France. And people weren't afraid to die for freedom. I'm starting to think that there is a problem in the citizens themselves now =/

That's true, but I think the geopolitical arena is far more complicated for things like that to happen again. Look at how many countries are worried about upsetting other countries these days. They all have their vested interests, which keep things from changing. Perhaps things were more lenient back then, though I could be wrong.

Well, it's certainly possible for citizens to be part of the problem. But the people who started the oppression are not the citizens, but the rulers. The basic problem lies in oppressive governments. All the citizens are responsible for is acting to change their country and not sitting around and watching everything blow to bits. In the case of North Korea, though, the citizens aren't responsible for anything, because they are under the constant threat of being persecuted by the government. They can barely do anything. So it's not surprising to see how so many citizens of North Korea pretending to love the ruler.

Well, this isn't recent, but it's still interesting.. Basically, the people of North Korea used to be very careful with expressing dissent. Now it seems that they're being much more open. That suggests that the people of North Korea are slowly but surely rising up to stand up for themselves. It's great news because the situation there is so terrible. I'm glad to hear that the people of North Korea have become so much braver. For someone to openly denounce Kim Jong-un fearlessly is remarkable and very promising.

"It appears that the fear and respect commanded by Kim Jong-il has not successfully transferred to his son and heir, Kim Jong-un. " Thats good =) HE will snap one day and start killing everyone in his madness, which is the point of his end ;D If the citizens have the same brain i do at least =/

Yup :> I'm sure a lot of people share your thoughts; they want nothing more than to see this oppressive regime end, especially since they are the actual victims. Even if they only hate Jong-un in secret, they're still being good citizens. And I have a feeling that, if everyone rebels some day, the government will lose control very quickly. But there's also a possibility that they'll resort to violence and end up almost starting a genocide. At least things are looking good now. You see, reading stuff like this is one of the things that makes me the happiest. It's enough to brighten my mood for the whole day haha ^^

"ghokle you talk more than a woman =o"

LOL XD I'm not very talkative myself; it's just that you're one of those people I like to talk to =P

Oh, I agree with you. But we need an outside army; the North Korean military is just as evil as the government. In fact, they are the ones who murder, rape, and destroy the lives of North Koreans. But I guess not all of the soldiers are heartless. Maybe they will join the people once the citizens rebel. I'd love to see that. ^^ Unfortunately, social revolution is not something that'll happen overnight - it's a process. Most things don't change overnight - at least not permanently.

lol you're welcome :3

Yeah, it's messed up like I said. The North Korean people only have each other for help - the authorities are their worst enemies.

And yup, I agree. I'm actively seeking people who are planning to do revolutionary things, because I want to join them. They're awfully hard to find, though, especially since most people I know are very apathetic about things going on in the world. =[ Oh well. I'm sure I'll find such people some day. ^^

Oh, well it's not as simple as just finding people suddenly, but yeah, America is a good place to look because it's very diverse here. Especially in California, there are all sorts of cool people. =] Anyway, I've got to go to sleep now - it's almost 2 AM. Stupid coffee. X_X =P I really liked this conversation. Night! :3
