[QUOTE="Tykain"][QUOTE="_BlueDuck_"][QUOTE="Tykain"][QUOTE="_BlueDuck_"]delerium is from atlanta and not trappist. Maredsous is made by Brouwerij Duvel-Moortgaat and is not trappist.Im jealous, Trappist ales are my favorite
Chimay
Dilerium
Marde Sous (spelling).mrbojangles25
There are only 7 trappist breweries: 6 in Belgium, 1 in Netherlands. They must be brewed within the walls of a trappist monestary
They included:
Chimay
Orval
Achel
Rochefort
Westmalle
Westvleteren
La Trappe de Koningshoeven (Netherlands)
Trappist Westvleteren 12, one of the best beer you will ever find.Tykainit is considered the best in the world but hard to find in the states. I've not been able to try it yet, however I believe it's available here.
Don't know if this has already been said, but there's a local brew called Fat Tire. It's good stuff, out of Colorado.BarackYoMommaI think that stuff is readily available all over the west. Although I'm more inclined to trying New Belgium's Enlightened Black Ale.

I live in Ft Collins. I love sunshine, my favorite new belgium, ahead of abbey. I suggest easy street from ft collins too, if you're a fan of wheats.

I stand corrected, thank you.
Lets just say I love Belgian and Belgian-****ales, then :D
Well, I would recommend this beer, purely because of the name.
It actually exists btw, its not some kind of joke.

I've never understood the hubub about fat tire or New Belgium in general... guess their just not my style, though I do like the wheat beers and easy street and sunshine are great if you like them... from fort collins too.

no, 40s are usually stronger because theyre malt liquor...usualy around 9-10% alcohol as opposed to the 5-6% of Budweiser.
its just their quality is lower, thats why theyre cheap.
