I have watched a good few lately now im hooked. So far i have seen pretty much the more popular ones Godfather, goodfellas, reservoir dogs, scarface, mean streets, once upon a time in america and a few others but im in the mood for some more. If anyone knows any good yakuza type ones that would be golden.

Edit: i have seen pulp fiction, the departed,American Gangster

If you're referring to the mediocre 1983 movie, then I'd suggest watching the 1932 good one.

Casino is a great movie that has organized crime elements, if you have seen the departed you might want to check out the film that inspired it, I think it is called Infernal Affairs and I think it was from Japan. Also, contrary to what a previous poster said the first two godfather films are two of the best movies ever made. They may not have the most action especially compared to todays standards, the plot, acting and themes of the decay of Michael Corleone is done better in those two films than any movie done since.

That's all up to opinion. The scenes in those movies are just incredible too drawn out imo.

No I mean where you obviously see explosives going off. But it was probably the same video, watch it with your eyes partially closed?

Lol pro-anarchism? Hell no. I was contributing to the thread by recommending a factual movie thats enlightening about the demolition of the twin towers. Excuse me if it falls under the category of "Organized crime".

I'm going to go ahead and say The Dark Knight. Yeah, technically its a super hero movie, but if you get over the fact that the main character dresses like a bat and the main villain dresses like a clown, at its core the movie is a very good crime/gangster drama.
