It might take longer than you think for it to blow over though. Pundits like O'Reilly and Limbaugh have been digging through all of his sermons, and pulling out hundreds of racist quotes. His links to Farrakhan won't help either.

And then you've also got Obama's links to the likes of Rezko and Ayers. Those links, bogus or otherwise and coupled with the Wright issues, will be exploited by the GOP 100 times more than they were by Clinton.

I honestly think there is a good chance that they will loose... If either Clinton or Obama had dropped out earlier they would have steamrollered the rednecks without batting an eyelash. All this infighting means victory for the GOP.

What does she think she's getting out of it? Lying that she played soccer at a High School that didn't have a soccer team? Why tell this lie? It doesn't help you in the political field at all... Saying she was under fire by a sniper in Bosnia (supposedly to appear tougher)? Why exagerate when just going to Bosnia is good enough to convince people that you aren't afraid to visit dangerous areas?

If you're going to exagerate or lie, at least make the lie impressive or worthwhile...

All of those lies are calculated. Let me help:

On a soccer team?
Suggests to listeners that your social and down to earth. And tough (physically and in state of mind)

Ducking sniper fire?
Suggests that you've put yourself in danger in order to broker/forward peace processes. It supposes she's not only had good foreign policy experience, but that she's put her life on the line for it. Also adds to the "toughness" argument. After all, how many people will/have put their lives on the line for peace? Not many. Gives her extra points.

9/11?
She was in a tight race for her Senate seat against a guy who actually DID have a child near ground zero. Putting Chelsea at gound zero puts Hillary closer to ground zero. Makes her seem like she's a New Yorker who lived the harrowing experience and can tell the story. And telling the story would put her on equal 9/11 ground with her competitor in a city where 9/11 means a lot.

Cut me some slack. I'm only an Obama supporter by default. I'm voting for the lesser of 3 evils, IMO, and if I had it my way neither one of them would have made it this far.
