if the electric guitar is a symbol of rock & roll, would it be possible to make a rock song without the use of the electric guitar? Would you consider it a rock song if there was no guitar to be found on the track?

I was just pondering this

Easy. Use a keyboard and put it to the electric guitar setting. Problem solved.

the band shrum uses just 2 bass guitars and drums (and a hell of a lot of distortion. they have a band member dedicated to just doing the distortion for each bass :lol: ).
