Indie/punk rock. I don't hate rap, I just don't care for it to the point that I never listen to it. I don't actively profess my distaste for it, though.

Wow! How original of you! Great job! As for me, I would say both. My tastes vary from time to time; sometimes I will find myself listening to more rock/alternative music, and other times I end up listening to mainly rap songs.
Rock, I've given Rap all the chances in the world, to find one thing that I liked out of it... but it still remains, horrible. I sorta giggle every time someone says they have some great rap, I give it a try, and it's horrible every time!
Rap by far. I don't mind listening to some variations of Rock music but I prefer rap because I grew up listening to Nas, 2 Pac, The Roots, Notorious B.I.G etc.
Rock for sure. I only have a few rap albums, a tribe called quest- low end theory, dr dre - chronic (1992), public enemy - 2 albums, beastie boys - 2 albums, young mc - stone cold rhymin, all of rage against the machine albums if they count.... that is pretty much it. It's more that I don't really need to discover more rap rather than not liking it. I have enough music to listen to, so I don't really need any more in any genre. I also don't like the amount of profanity used in rap, even on those albums considered great. I know the chronic is full of profanity but it was one of the first to have that much anger towards street life, now it just seems unnecessary.

Among modern rappers,I only like Eminem.
I used to like rock when I was younger,but after listening to a few Eminem songs,I got hooked to rap and now I find rock too slow and therefore boring.
