I would like to, and given that I am in the last group in my country to get the vaccine, I'll wait until August with my vacation. Getting(hopefully) the first shot before vacation and hopefully Covid-19 will be really low by then.

I'll be taking 1 week half on vacation heading to Universals in Florida this late July and taking my 2 daughters & GF. We're all vaccinated. Good luck getting the shot Horgen :)

I have somewhat landed in a situation at work that isn't exactly comfortable. We got way to much work to do this summer, and for some processes, I am the only one in my department with training to do them. It takes about 5 weeks and due to a injury earlier this year I can't begin with them yet. So because of that I get a late vacation.

Just working as normal. delayed my vacation until August as I had no idea when I would get the vaccine against Covid. Got the first shot now, which will give me some protection once my vacation starts. Hopefully make travelling a little easier.

This must be the however manyeth time I've checked in over the years and still find it hard to believe how slow things are compared to the past. I suppose with age comes less time to rattle away at the keyboard, lucky I managed to avoid carpal tunnel with how much time I spent on the computer in the past.

I have a Reddit account, but I'm mainly a lurker there. While it covers just about every topic under the sun, they just don't carry the same magic as other forums to me.

It would probably have still slowed down a bit as the main chunk of the user base aged and more popular sites popped up to migrate to, but I think a lot of people left due to being disgruntled by the changes made making things feel less community focused.
I sure miss a lot of these old timers. We’ve had Omni-Slash, solidruss, NikkyCat, the_foreign_guy, spazzx625, fastesttruck, cousin_eddy, canana, chicknfeet, etc.

Fastesttruck was banned for repeatedly using his UCB (remember those?) to keep his post count up. The rest of those users you mentioned, however, kind of just disappeared.
In addition to some of the people you listed, I also miss AlliCrombie, PiscesChick93, Noteldnep, ZeroYaoi, Personeyperson and The_Last_Ride (who is also banned).
@TAMKFan: That is sad. fastesttruck was one of my favorite users. I really liked posting with him.
I miss some of those people, too. Me and Noteldnep got to message eachother here a year ago, though. Haven’t heard back from him in months. He was awesome.
