That would be quite the delay. Usually you would expect the world to end instantaneously with this sort of thing. Yep, but it seems even the earth has to meet certain criteria before it officially meets its on downfall.

I can't say I know much about the end of the world. I've done some study in that area, but it was all theoretical. I don't know much either besides from what my brain tells me to believe. I always thought the world was supposed to end on Dec. 31, 2012, but apparently it's supposed to be Dec. 12, 2012. It still saddens me that I didn't find this out sooner.
