do you think i could go with crossfire 6990 while not making the electricty bill expensive? Nope, that's overkill right there.theres another laptop im looking at and its kinda expensive. but it has an i7-960 dekstop cpu

That would be awesome, lol. That's 5 years guaranteed.

If your cpu is bottlenecking then overclocking is a must, or get a new cpu. The Sandy Bridge cpus are awesome at overclocking and will last a while as well.
Plus for cpu extensive games like Shogun 2 it is mandatory.

i thought it was the gpu that gives higher framerates?or since its a desktop cpu can I overclock it? just wondering

Desktops cpu can be overclocked much better than laptop. As you see here, the gpu does determine the framerate, but the cpu is what allows it to have those FPS. You don't want a weak cpu on a strong gpu now do you? If the cpu is not fast enough, it won't catch up to the gpu so the gpu won't have the FPS it can do. A stronger cpu will allow the gpu to have more FPS, but of course the gpu is the one is getting those FPS, the cpu just needs to be strong enough to allow it.
nite mitu and thanks for the infoGoing to bed now, night RC(Alli is probably glad I'm going to sleep now).
Hero, if it's with Jet Li. Planet of the Apes was good. i only see bits of hero but the ending was awesome. rise was very awesome.watch hero or waatach rise of the planet of the apes? decisions, decisions
BranKetra
He has better movies, but the overall plot of the movie is what I liked most about Hero. I haven't seen the latest Planet of the Apes. I was talking about the remake of the original that came out years ago. Haven't bothered to watch any of the others.BranKetratim burtons one? that wasnt so bad. I was like "he's f***k!" at the ending. you should see the movie sometime. its pretty good imo
should have watch rise of the planet of the apes credings. apparently the ending credits might have shown that
the humans getting affect and maybe even die by the virus. if there is a sequal I do hope will, caeser, and caroline appear. i really dont want them to die. atleast not yet
