This PC here isnt bad. Faster CPU than mine, 9800GT and 4Gb of RAM. But its let down by a 32bit OS (Vista lolz) and a 1280x1024 mointor. While that sounds good mostly, you miss your stuff and there's drawbacks too(Vista and monitor).

Its a shop built PC but I want to slap the guy who put this together because they put 4Gb of RAM in yet used a 32bit OS?! I mean WTF!

They can't break a stick in half so you have 3gb. So they put in 4gb and if you ever take the big boy step and upgrade to 64bit you'll have the whole 4gb.

They can't break a stick in half so you have 3gb. So they put in 4gb and if you ever take the big boy step and upgrade to 64bit you'll have the whole 4gb. On my home PC I use 64bit Win7 Pro but Vista really needs 4Gb of RAM. I dont know if it occured to the guy that built this PC to use a 64bit OS since he put in 4Gb of RAM.
Most current market 32bit OS PC's have 4gb RAM, it's standard. And most people who build custom PC's with a 32bit OS also get 4gb RAM. Vista 32bit needs 2gb of RAM to run smoothly. It's not really effective to put a 1gb stick in with a 2gb stick. Much better to go with two 2gb sticks for 4gb dual channel. The OS can't use all of it, but it can use 3gb of it. Which a damn site lot better than using just 2gb. Pretty much so most if not 90% of PC custom builders or PC stores do this. Pretty standard really.
