Well at the end of this month I'll probably be totally broke, almost all friends have moved away from town for now, and my parents are going away to the US till January sometime.

I dunno what my sister's doing. Her last apartment basically burned down, and she has a new place somewhere that I don't know yet. We don't speak too often.
Snow is overrated. :|So are the sunny beaches of Australia. Staying awake until 4am because it's too hot to sleep, and then waking up again at 5am because it's too cold (stupid desert climate), and then 6am sweating again is hell.
During the day... average temperatures of 35'C for summer... Going outside and burning... argh. Give me the cool days of winter anyday.

Ok, well, I can understand wanting cold days, but snow is more trouble than its worth. With snow, you can expect delayed commutes to work/school, losing control of your vehicle and sliding into something/someone, or someone sliding into you, iced up cars (NOT FUN), shoveling driveways, being snowed in (not fun when you lose a day's pay because your job doesn't comp for snow days), slipping on black ice and landing on your coccyx, snowballs to the face (really stings), cars being dirtied by magnesium chloride they spray to deice the roads. I guess the only good thing about snow is if you never have to go anywhere in it. *shrugs*
