Yea, I have the extended edition box set too for all 3. I've gone through each feature at least 4 times for each movie. I want to buy the extended version when it hits blu-ray.

I haven't heard of a definitive date yet but Amazon does have a page listed for the extended versions of the movie. I'm guessing that they're going to wait until the upcoming months of The Hobbit and try to get the hype going for it. Should be next year, I think.
