I would say that we always want what we can not have, but you said that you did not know they were attached so guess that does not apply. I suppose that someone else thought the same thing you did and just got there first, so to speak. The only advice I can give is keep trying, you seem like a very nice fellow...I am sure you will find someone. I am sorry. I am not good at giving advice on this. I would be happy beomg alone and have never chased after a girl (always been the one being chased after)
