I just kept coming across forts. Everytime, someone shot an arrow at me, so I retaliated.
When did you 1st get this game? Because since you still have a lot to do seems to be taking a long time to get things done, lol.

Late November. I've been adventuring. Completed the Mage's Guild questline. Helped random people in what turn out to be huge quests. Daedra lords kept bothering me. I became Thane of all the holds except Markath and Whiterun, too.
This. buy a lot of Iron Ingots and Leather Strips and keep forging Iron Daggers until your Smithing skill is 100guildclaws
I did that because for one, I wanted to upgrade my armor and two, building better armors or weapons didn't upgrade smithing any more or less.
