[QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"]I don't think you full understand what raw is trying to say. He was talking about the fries in his post.rawsavon
I thought I made it very clear :? but then jedi's posts made me question the clarity of my query :( but then you alleviated those feelings by expressing your understanding of the question posed :)

Well to answer your original question to Jedi, I think it was the former in that he eats because he works there though I could be wrong. I doubt anyone would work at a certain fast food place just for the food perks.

Sometimes I walk 12 miles. As long as I have my headphones and my favorite music, I could probably walk all day. :P [QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"] Running is better. ;)

I can run pretty fast for a person that's my size.

brb, no cardio whatsoever. brb, resting heart rate of a marathon athlete. brb, eating cereal, bacon, eggs, and ice cream for probably over 1000 calories every single day for months. Most mainstream dietitians don't know their ass from their elbow, so they automatically pigeonhole foods as bad and thus people remain uninformed. The body is more efficient than most give it credit for.

lol sorry had to chime in.

Because they're not keeping track. Most of these "health problems" are brought on by obesity, not the foods themselves. These health problems stem from people stuffing their holes, not because the food is inherently evil.

But not all foods are created equal though. Apples and chicken are better than fries and chicken nuggets. It doesn't help that almost everything has fake sugar in it. That's a lot worse than real sugar.

Apples and oranges (figuratively) Equal calories and there is no difference in body composition. It would take years upon years of consistent fries and nuggets for anything remotely adverse to occur. And sugar is sugar is sugar. It all turns to glucose in the bloodstream. Sucrose, glucose, fructose, honey, high fructose corn syrup, etc. Their differences are so miniscule they will never change anything even measurable. Potatoes, rice, cotton candy, sugar cubes, bread. They all have the same fate.

http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/research-review/hormonal-responses-to-a-fast-food-meal-compared-with-nutritionally-comparable-meals-of-different-composition-research-review.html Quoting the last section application. "This study basically backs up what I've been saying for years: a single fast food meal, within the context of a calorie controlled diet, is not death on a plate. It won't destroy your diet and it won't make you immediately turn into a big fat pile of blubber. And, frankly, this can be predicted on basic physiology (in terms of nutrient digestion) alone. It's just nice to see it verified in a controlled setting. It's not uncommon for the physique obsessed to literally become social pariahs, afraid to eat out because eating out is somehow defined as 'unclean' (never mind that a grilled chicken breast eaten out is fundamentally no different than a grilled chicken breast cooked at home) and fast food is, of course, the death of any diet. This is in addition to the fact that apparently eating fast food makes you morally inferior as well. Well, that's what bodybuilders and other orthorexics will tell you anyhow. Except that it's clearly not. Given caloric control, the body's response to a given set of nutrients, with the exception of blood lipids would appear to be more determined by the total caloric and macro content of that meal more than the source of the food. In terms of the hormonal response, clean vs. unclean just doesn't matter, it's all about calories and macros. Which is what I've been saying all along."

I can't really argue with controlled scientific studies, but sure seems like every diet seller and "magic cure" propaganda company can.

I think its pretty obvious that everyone knows that one fast food meal won't kill you but eating out multiple times a week will over a prolonged period of time, it will be more detrimental to your health than had you eaten foods that were cooked at home.

[QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"][QUOTE="Kcube"]I'm done with gamestop..I bought Motorstorm apocalypse and instead got Pacific rift.Bought FF 10 PS2 and they packaged 13 instead.Using Glyde from now on..so much easier. Not just that but the dips**** kept trying to sell me preorders and was like "we have 500 MW3 preorders here alone"..I could care less about that game and the only two things preordered are BF3 and Skyrim and neither atGstop. /rant.

I hate Gamestop. /rant

Its hard not to hate them.Awhile back (like 2 months) some dude was telling me that the new Mortal Kombat would have Freddy Kruger and argued with me when I said it was DLC for the current game  My first fight with them was software Etc and I complained after finding out my Jumping flash 2 game was repackaged as new.
