We're studying satire right now. My English teacher is obsessed with the Simpsons, and she loves the Daily Show and Colbert Report, too. My geography teacher from last semester plays Zelda and things like that. Pretty fun stuff. Oh, and this is the best one: My history teacher works bingos on wednesday nights, so thursdays are movie days, usually, cuz he runs on 2 hours of sleep those days. And his motto is "a sleeping student is a quiet student," so he doesn't care if you sleep or not. Good times:P

I miss days like that.  We haven't had snow in Wisconsin (southern) in years and years.  These days we get, at most, 5 inches in a storm.

I think that when my little one gets old enough to enjoy the snow I'll be wishing for huge snowfalls, right now though..the only time I really want snow is for Christmas.  I loved having the huge snowfalls when I was kid, school getting canceled, sledding, etc.

You miss it? :o This is probably the most snow that I have ever seen Hamilton get but its not fun getting to school in it. Some people still haven't shoveled their properties so when I get to school my pants and shoes are all wet. Even the city hasn't got the snow off the park sidewalk I usually walk on......I guess its pretty to look at :)

Yeah, we had rain for Christmas, i think. Not cold enough for snow, not at all. And school didn't even get canceled with the crazy amount of snow we just got the other day. I don't remember a snow day in maybe 6 years. Damn that Manbearpig. But i know what you mean, spending entire afternoons in the snow as a kid, it was a blast.

lol...no, I'm a Preschool Teacher and we take our kids out in it all the time.  Also, I have a little one I can't wait for to be old enough to play in it
